A few hours later, the patient presented an acute coronary syndrome, complicated by severe arrhythmias, namely ventricular fibrillation, responsible for a cardiogenic shock with a left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) at 30%. Several authors have studied methyl bromide's neurotoxicity and reported similar brain MRI results. Given the fact that the patient was highly unstable, presented acute renal failure, and in the hypothesis of a septic shock, we decided not to perform an angiocoronarography immediately.
