eadiva-com-317		<subject> Subject | EADiva			.html	application/xhtml+xml	606	82	68	A Plain-Talking EAD Tag Library When the subject is a person, corporation, or geographic region, <persname>, <corpname>, and <geogname> should be used, with their ROLE attribute set to "subject." Not all subjects in the finding aid need to be tagged, but this element may be used to encode any for which more than keyword searching access should be available. Subjects with major representation in the materials should be listed within <controlaccess> even if the names are encoded elsewhere.
