In this study, empirical results proved the impact of sea transportation, trade liberalization and industrial development on carbon dioxide emissions for China from 1980 to 2013. The long-run relationship between carbon dioxide emissions 2 sea transportation trade liberalization and industrial development is investigated through f bounds test which is considered the zero hypothesis. Findings from FMOLS, DOLS and CCR models indicate that maritime transport, trade liberalization and industrial development are the determinants of long-term carbon emissions, just as in the results of the ARDL model.
