In this section the parameters of the proposed SIRSi model (1) (see Fig. 1 ) are numerically adjusted to fit the curve of confirmed symptomatic cases of three major cities in the state of São Paulo -Brazil, using publicly available data from the State Data Analysis System -SEADE ( Sistema Estadual de Análise de Dados 2 ) [47] .
