In this study, we investigated mild cases and severe cases infected with SARS-CoV-2, as well as healthy young children and adults. Our study suggests that monocytes, neutrophils, and T-lymphocytes are associated with the onset and progress of COVID-19 infection, and immunopathogenesis was involved in ARDS, metabolic disorders, and MODS in severe cases. We collected the data of patients with COVID-19, including the clinical records, laboratory results and chest computed tomography (CT) scan images of mild and severe cases in the hospital.
