The FilmArray R Pneumonia plus Panel (FAPP) is a new panel for HAP, which offers potential advantage to detect and quantify in a single test, 27 respiratory pathogens (18 bacteria, 9 viruses) and 7 antibiotic resistance genes. At the time of HAP diagnosis, FAPP yielded positive results with significant levels (i.e., ≥ 10 4 bin in BAL and ≥ 10 5 bin in ETA for semi-quantified bacteria) in 82/100 patients. In this study, this test was compared to routine microbiological methods using 237 prospectively collected BAL and ETA specimens obtained from 100 ICU patients at the time of suspected HAP and, if possible, at a later timepoint during follow-up.	./cache/cord-316176-rqc6kvsl.txt	./txt/cord-316176-rqc6kvsl.txt
