However, to our knowledge, only one study applied latent class analysis to population behaviors following a novel virus outbreak [i.e., influenza A (H7N9)] in Hong Kong (Liao et al., 2015) , despite the method's statistical advantages in modeling behavioral patterns (e.g., flexibility, integration of measurement error).
