Most of the respondents of the Greenport survey (86%) considered that GHG emissions from shipping generated in the port area should be included as third-party emission in the carbon footprint calculation of the port. After that, the results of a research conducted on different existing methodologies to calculate CO 2 emissions in ports are presented, followed by an analysis of their strengths and opportunities for further development. Besides the studies in ports, research on the methods used to calculate CO 2 emissions and carbon footprint in port terminals has also been conducted. In this paper, initiatives to reduce the effects of climate change, carbon footprint and CO 2 emissions in ports have been studied to identify function and applicability. ./cache/cord-254633-7re0k0d1.txt ./txt/cord-254633-7re0k0d1.txt
