With guidance from the presented evidence, we proposed EHIS key stakeholders' roles and responsibilities to ensure efficient utility of EHIS for disease diagnosis and management at POC in LMICs. The health sector is lagging behind in the era of information and technology (IT). There are various factors impeding the successful implementation and scale up of EHIS in LMICs.
