Comparing the infection fatality rate estimates reported in [3] with the normal annual mortality rates for Austria, we see parallels as well -the estimated risk of death with COVID-19 is for the majority of age groups roughly as high as the normal risk of dying within 1-2 years (Fig. 3 , black dots).
