Various clinical trials are underway to evaluate trained immunity through BCG vaccination in healthy volunteers under the coordination of Dr. Mihail Netea (Radboud University Medical Center, Nijmegen, the Netherlands). To our knowledge, there are no published articles or clinical evidences that show that BCG immunization protects against SARS-CoV-2 in Brazil.
