We aim to provide a framework for an integrated, intergenerational community response to promote emotional, mental, and holistic wellbeing of HCWs and communities. Mobilizing the community to aid mask shortages directly helps another major impact: a massive toll on HCWs' emotional and mental health. It is important to recognize the impact a community can have on improving the mental health of HCWs by addressing their emotional and spiritual needs during a time of crisis.
