SARS CoV-2 strain 2019-nCov/Italy wild-type virus (LV), which was handled in a level 3 bio-containment facility (BSL 3), was used as positive control in order to evaluate the spike glycoprotein expression, while a ∆-envelope pseudotype, prepared with the same procedure, was used as a negative control.
