Therefore, a guideline for the standard autopsy for infectious diseases is stated here, which aims to: 1) provide scientific grounds to establish appropriate plans for the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, 2) contribute to improving national health by controlling the spread of pathogens within the community, and 3) protect human resources engaged in autopsy-related work from the risk of infection.
