CONCLUSIONS: Our case report suggests that collaborative treatments with traditional Chinese medicine prove beneficial in the management of COVID-19 in critically ill patients. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is a newly recognised illness that has spread rapidly throughout Wuhan (Hubei province) to other provinces in China and around the world. Here, we report 1 critically ill case, who was infected by COVID-19, obtained good results after the combined therapy of our TCM formula and Western medicine.
