To date and after the fifth months into the novel coronavirus pandemic, no drugs have demonstrated safety and efficacy in randomized controlled trials for patients with COVID-19. This decision has raised many questions and some ethical issues related to the hydroxychloroquine treatment prescription might emerge during the Covid-19 patients' management.
