Two reviewers separately extracted the data from included studies, considering key characteristics including author, publication year, country, type of study, sample size, laboratory findings, comorbidities, and final clinical outcomes. Further analysis revealed the frequency of clinical manifestations in infected medical staff were similar to patients in the general public (Table 3) . The findings of this COVID-19 meta-analysis review revealed that the normal or abnormal outcome of a patient's laboratory results may shed light on the stage of the disease and its progression.
