There are cumulative data indicating that patients with cancer may be at increased risk for more severe COVID-19 and associated complications, including those receiving or not receiving treatment within the month prior to infection 5, 6 , although other recent results suggest mortality may be primarily associated with age, male sex, and comorbidities 7 .
