Overall, it has to be stated, that all parts of our lives as an Orthopaedic Surgeon are affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. In a time, when all resources are bundled fighting against the virus, the role of Orthopaedics within the Hospital organisation is changing a lot. All team members were informed and trained on those guidelines, however, with the increasing number of Covid-19 positive patients and employees the number of contact persons who also needed to be quarantined became so high, that a routine shift sometimes was not possible.
