Therefore this study was carried out to determine the socio-demographic and clinical characteristics of the COVID-19 patients of our country. This was an online cross-sectional survey, carried out by the Research wing of Daktarkhana (GP center of Bangladesh), among the RT-PCR positive COVID-19 adult patients (aged >18 years) who are using Facebook (the most widely used social media of the country) and Data from the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control, and Research (IEDCR) 10 revealed that 42% of the Bangladeshi COVID-19 cases were aged between 21 and 50 years but in our study age range was 17-78 years.
