In this regard, to the best of our knowledge, this is the first study to explore the COVID-19 management framework in the context of China's hotel industry; the framework addresses phases, principles, and strategies of the industry's anti-pandemic journey. In addition to summarizing the overall impacts of COVID-19 on China's hotel industry, the importance and originality of this study are that it develops a COVID-19 management framework comprising anti-pandemic phases, principles, strategies.
