[4] [5] [6] As a tertiary bone sarcoma referral centre catering to a large population, we continued to perform oncological procedures during the lockdown period with strict adherence to local protocols. We suppose that this study would be useful in providing inputs in formulating guidelines for bone sarcoma surgery in times like the current COVID-19 pandemic. We did not perform routine COVID-19 testing on all our preoperative patients as per existing guidelines during that period. There was a significant increase in number of major surgeries performed during lockdown (37 out of 41) as compared with normal period (24 out of 50).
