As a result, restriction measures deprived older adults of the opportunity to socialize with their peers, compromising psychological wellbeing by bringing on isolation, a condition posing a great risk for depression, anxiety (43) , as well as loneliness (10) . Taking available literature into account, the study aimed to investigate the psychological impact of COVID-19, that is, fear, depressive and anxiety symptoms, as well as sleep disturbances, on older individuals.
