This study was done according to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) method identifying published literature on COVID-19 and its potential impact on pregnancy and neonates. The comprehensive literature search was carried out with PubMed, Medline, Scopus, Cochrane database, and Google Scholar, using key MeSH words, which include "COVID-19," "Pregnancy," "Coronavirus 2019," "Newborn," "Foetus," "Neonate," "vertical transmission," and "outcomes." All published articles have been reviewed, and the findings have been included in this study.
