Multiple studies have been 229 conducted since the start of this global pandemic, with more than 40 000 papers resulting from 230 people with visual and hearing impairments, may be less susceptible to medical complications 254 due to COVID-19 than people with neurological disabilities. Another limitation of this review is the lengthy 323 publishing process of some journals, which might result in a lack of studies about the impact of 324 COVID-19 on people with physical disabilities in the short term.
