International Journal of Eating Disorders (IJED) and members of its board long have embraced an author-centric ethos to maintain policies and practices that support authors (e.g., short review times; detailed and high-quality feedback; a range of manuscript types suitable for investigators across levels of research experience; workshops on publishing; and outreach to early career scholars).
