Therefore, our doctors had a low threshold for screening for COVID-19 disease in CKD and ESKD patients admitted for fluid overload, respiratory, and non-respiratory symptoms 8 , in order to identify COVID-19 cases for immediate isolation to prevent infection within the hospital and its inpatient dialysis centre.
