Also, the WBCs count was 10.5 ± 6 × 10 9 /L in patients required intubation compared to 8.3 ± 4.1 × 10 9 /L (P = .098) in those patients did not require intubation. In summary, our study indicated a significant association between leukocytosis and the rate of mortality in patients with COVID-19. Also, our findings indicated the higher rate of mortality among COVID-19 patients with higher Hb level.
