Here, we review the recently published literature on the pharmacological treatments used so far and/or undergoing evaluation in clinical trials, with focus on the biochemical mechanisms of action of repurposed or investigational drugs, classified as agents directly targeting the virus ( Figure 1 and Table 1 ) and those used to treat the respiratory distress and inflammation associated with the cytokine release syndrome ( Figure 2 and Table 2 ).	./cache/cord-345371-pjbviagq.txt	./txt/cord-345371-pjbviagq.txt
