However, how those asymptomatic COVID-19 positive patients in nursing homes or other long-term care facilities be managed is not clear. However, it is not clear how to protect patients and healthcare workers from those so called "non-COVID-19" who might be asymptomatically infected with SARS-CoV-2. There are multiple factors contributing to the apparent reduced utilization of healthcare services by to non-COVID-19 patients.
