cord-006876-v2m5l5wz	nan	Neurocritical Care Society 14(th) Annual Meeting	2016-08-11		.txt	text/plain	59719	3440	47	We conducted a prospective cohort study among mild and moderate-severe TBI patients admitted to a level 1 trauma center with these inclusion criteria: 1) Age < 65 years, 2) No severe non-TBI injuries, 3) No prior cardiac disease, and 4) Minimal comorbidities. In most instances, DC has been performed based on neurosurgical evaluation of the patient with or without intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring and evidence of increased shown variable outcomes in emergency (within 4 hours of injury) neurosurgical procedure in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). This is an observational cohort study of adult patients (>18 years) in a 10-bed NSICU at an academic, tertiary care center evaluating quality outcome measures pre-and post-neurointensivists.
