The results indicated that the levels of IL-6 and C-reactive protein had decreased with the increase in the dosage and duration of methylprednisolone therapy and returned to normal on February 10. On the 19 th day of admission, a nasopharyngeal swab was performed for the first time after the treatment and the test result was negative for 2019-nCoV infection. In addition, the levels of IL-6 and C-reactive protein returned to normal on day 8 of methylprednisolone use.
