In that study we demonstrated that young dogs were susceptible to experimental infection with both CRCoV isolates, which gave rise to clinical signs of respiratory disease consistent with naturally occurring infection. Analyses specifically focused on the histopathological changes in the canine upper and lower respiratory tissues, virulence differences among CRCoV isolates derived from CIRD cases representing wide geographical locations; UK and USA [MO, NE, UT and MI] , and the demonstration of Koch's postulates.
