It is therefore imperative that guidelines and protocols are made for effectively and efficiently handling patients with COVID-19 in the dental clinic and minimizing risk of nosocomial transmissions. Patients with respiratory infections (current or in the last 48 h) and those with travel histories to COVID-19-affected regions should be reported to the health department and should be rescheduled.
