[14] [15] [16] The COVID-19 pandemic presents with a new range of challenges for undergraduate dental training, not only in Nigeria, but worldwide which include infection control practices in the clinic. The aim of this study was therefore to assess the knowledge, perception and attitude to the COVID-19 pandemic and infection control practices among undergraduate clinical dental students in Nigeria. This study sought to provide an overview of dental students' knowledge of COVID-19 and attitude to infection control during this pandemic, which could serve as guidelines in preparation for school resumption and clinical training of the students. Notwithstanding, this study has provided a national perspective on the knowledge and attitudes/perceptions of undergraduate clinical dental students towards the COVID-19 pandemic and infection control practices in Nigeria.
