Ordinal regressions (cumulative logit model) were used for analyzing the effects of waking-life variables, e.g., owning a dog, having owned a dog, time spent with the dog, or negative experiences in the past with dogs, on dog dream variables (dog dream percentage, emotional tone of dog dreams) controlled for age, sex, education, and dream recall frequency.
