cord-298708-lvahzj59	Sahin, Ecem	Vulnerabilities of Syrian refugee children in Turkey and actions taken for prevention and management in terms of health and wellbeing	2020-07-29		.txt	text/plain	10392	468	46	RESULTS: Syrian refugee children in Turkey are facing a variety of risks in terms of their health and wellbeing including communicable and non-communicable diseases, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, family violence, child labor, and child marriage. A study on mental health problems and related risk factors in Turkey reported that Syrian refugee children have been exposed to a number of traumatic events during war in Syria prior to arrival to Turkey such as witnessing explosions or gun battles (70 %), to lose someone important to them (56 %), to see dead or wounded people (55 %), or witnessing people being tortured (43 %) (Gormez et al., 2018) . The main commonality of the studies reviewed for this article is that Syrian refugee children in Turkey are faced with higher risks in terms of a variety of health and wellbeing indicators despite the efforts by governmental and non-governmental entities.	./cache/cord-298708-lvahzj59.txt	./txt/cord-298708-lvahzj59.txt
