To tackle the outbreak, the number of ICU beds doubled in less than 2 weeks in these public and private hospitals. This on-call intensivist dispatcher answers to phone calls, gives advices for patient management and finds an available ICU bed if required. Hence, the on-call regional intensivist dispatcher can access in real time to a synthesis of beds availability (Fig.1 ) using a web browser or a smart phone. Hence, the on-call regional intensivist dispatcher was immediately able to find an available ICU bed for every patient in the region.
