The first part compared the 2-year suicide rates and reattempt rates of the two cohorts of older adults (aged 65 years and older) with an index suicide attempt, presenting to psychogeriatric specialist care provided by the same healthcare administration (Hospital Authority of Hong Kong) in two consecutive time frames.
