However, the invention of Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) provides new ideas and technologies for establishing a rapid detection method of F5 fimbriae gene. The result of detecting by established LAMP were positive only for F5 fimbriae gene, and no positive DNA products of the LAMP assay were observed when these control strains (F4ab, F6, F41, and F18ab) were used as templates (Fig. 3) .
