In this article, we describe VERA_Epidemiology (or just VERA for short), an interactive AI tool that enables users to build conceptual models of the impact of social distancing on COVID-19. We describe the use of VERA to develop a SIR model for the spread of COVID-19 and its relationship with healthcare capacity.
