This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the impact of this pandemic on stroke care, including the number of stroke alerts/codes, number of reperfusions, and number of thrombectomies during the COVID-19 pandemic compared to the pre-pandemic period. Meta-analysis of proportion was used to determine the number of stroke alerts/codes, reperfusions, and mechanical thrombectomies during the pandemic compared to that during the historical pre-pandemic control period.
