STAHR II was a prospective cohort study in which community-recruited PWID who had injected at least once in the prior month (actively injecting) were enrolled in 2012-2014, and J o u r n a l P r e -p r o o f followed for two years through semi-annual follow-up visits to determine the prevalence, incidence, and risk factors for Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb), HIV, and hepatitis C virus (HCV) infections among PWID in San Diego, CA.
