This survey was undertaken to assess the current Otorhinolaryngology practice of tracheostomy intervention in COVID patients ventilated in Intensive Care Units. While this survey represents a snap-shot of current activity in a rapidly changing clinical environment, it does nonetheless suggest that there is a place for tracheostomy intervention in COVID-19 positive intubated patients, but that this intervention is performed later (on average day 14) than would be classically recommended (days 7-10).
