Patients negative to the first rapid test and to the swab test are admitted to the COVID-free Neurosurgical Unit, so they can be operated on the following day. In detail, for patients COVID+ needing a transsphenoidal endoscopic surgery, we recommend the following items. Nasal endoscopic assessment is performed 2 weeks after surgery, using all the precautions recommended for COVID+ patients. During the last month, we operated on 12 patients affected by skull base tumors using endoscopic endonasal approach.
