While helping to curtail the spread of COVID-19 infection among patients and staff,measures could also have a negative, disruptive effect on SUD services (European Monitoring Centre for Drug and Drug Addiction, 2020). During the lockdown, state funded SUD treatment services in Israel instituted a number of measures to limit patient and staff contact.
