Patients indicating R/S concern(s) were offered a telephone-based chaplaincy intervention and asked to complete a survey assessing acceptability of the intervention. The majority of survey participants found various aspects of the intervention to be acceptable, indicating they were "very much" satisfied with the length of the phone call, the chaplain's conveyed care, and response to spiritual and emotional concerns. Findings also suggest that chaplaincy delivered by phone as the first contact is acceptable to patients seen in an outpatient oncology clinic, with surveyed patients reporting positive responses about the chaplain's abilities on the phone, and various aspects of the service offered. ./cache/cord-335759-io18c6z0.txt ./txt/cord-335759-io18c6z0.txt
