In addition, EIDAR supports studies investigating the disease burden, risk factors, and clinical outcomes associated with emerging and/or reemerging pathogens responsible for causing outbreaks of disease affecting U.S. military populations. 27 In response to the U.S. military's largest outbreak of STEC (nearly 300 cases) which occurred at the U.S. Marine Corps Recruit Depot-San Diego in the Fall of 2017, a new EIDAR protocol was developed to investigate long-term health impact of STEC infection through a 5-year follow-up online surveybased study assessing clinical outcomes.	./cache/cord-331619-63qqrn2w.txt	./txt/cord-331619-63qqrn2w.txt
