These findings provide new insights into lncRNAs and lay a foundation for future functional analysis of lncRNAs during early longan SE. Additionally, 11 potential target genes (mRNAs) and five lncRNAs related to auxin response factors were verified by qPCR in the three stages of early longan SE.
