CypA was further revealed to interact with extracellular CD147, which is the main receptor for CypA on the cell membrane of human leukocytes, and this interaction can induce the phosphorylation of HIV-1 matrix protein to regulate the liberation of the reverse transcriptase complex into cytoplasm during an early stage of HIV-1 infection or can function in HIV-1 attachment to host cells [8] .
